Whether she's cutting to the heart with her emotion-driven original songs or belting out cover tunes, Cassie's penetrating voice, rhythmic acoustic style and intense emotional energy combine to capture her audience's attention. A polished performer as well as an excellent songwriter, Cassie received a songwriting award from Music City Search in 2005. In addition, several of her songs have been featured on Dawson's Creek. Cassie has spent the past seven summers performing in the Cape Cod vacation destination - Provincetown, MA - and has propelled her self into a full time music career, abandoning her job as an elementary school counselor in 2003. "You've got to reach for your dreams...it's an attitude I've always tried to inspire in my students...now I'm living mine!" Cassie has performed clubs, festivals, coffee houses, restaurants and colleges in all six New Engand states as well as New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, North Carolina, Florida, Illinoise, Wisconsin and California.
